The Towers of Cologne

One landmark that tourists going to Cologne, Germany should never miss (because it's really hard to miss) is the Cathedral, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cologne and one of the famous sites in European tourism. Once it was completed in the 1880's, it was the tallest man-made structure in the entire world.

The Cathedral is famous for its towering spires that looks like outstreched hands touching the sky. Inside the medieval-inspired religious establisment is the Sarcophagus of the Magi, believed to be the final resting spot of the Christian Bible's Three Wise Men.
