Germans have a historical passion for
decoration of bodies. The
German Emperor in 1152, Friedrich Barbossa was often illustrated with a design of cross at his hands. Another Emperor named Kaiser Wihelm was said have a design of eagle in his chest. According to history, the first tattoist who became famous in United States was a German.
Many years have passed and tattoo became a
tourist attraction in Germany. Many famous Germans joined sideshow. Don Manuelo, designed his back with the scene in military battle, eagle, and flags in crossed position, while he put women and sailors who look like Indians in his chest. There were also attractions that are double like Miss Alwanda and Miss Creola who designed their bodies with the queens and kings of Europe. All their designs reflect different German stories. Now, who says tattoo is only for addicts?
